He heads into this one with a split-decision win over Antonio Carlos Junior last time out on Sept. 14, 2019. He was expected to meet Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza at UFC 249 in April, but a positive test for COVID-19 for Souza scrapped that fight. He was to then face Yoel Romero in August, but the latter was forced out due to injury. So he’ll be chomping at the bit to get back into the cage, and he won’t have any reservations about sending Silva (34-10) into retirement with an L.
It will be sad to see “The Spider” go, as he has been a tremendous fighter over his career. But it’s probably time. He enters with just one win in his past eight outings, a unanimous-decision win over Derek Brunson at UFC 208 on Feb. 11, 2017. He was knocked out by Jared Cannonier at UFC 237 in his most recent showing. It would be a storybook performance for Silva to end his career with his hand raised, but it’s not going to happen.

Anderson Silva vs. Uriah Hall betting odds released.
The opening betting odds have been released for the upcoming middleweight bout on Halloween between strikers Anderson Silva and Uriah Hall.
Silva and Hall will meet on October 31 in a five-round middleweight main event. The fight features two of the top strikers in the UFC middleweight division going at it, which should bring plenty of eyeballs to the fight despite taking place on Halloween. According to UFC president Dana White, this will be the last fight of Silva’s legendary Hall of Fame career.
With the Silva vs. Hall fight just around the corner, the sportsbooks have released the opening odds for the contest. Here they are below, courtesy of BestFightOdds.
UFC Halloween Odds.
Hall (15-9) is the No. 10 ranked middleweight in the UFC. A former TUF contestant, the 36-year-old Hall has been a full-time member of the UFC roster since 2013, racking up an 8-7 record so far inside the Octagon. Some of Hall’s notable wins include Gegard Mousasi, Antonio Carlos Junior, Thiago Santos, Krzysztof Jotko, and Aung La N Sang. Although Hall has struggled at times in the UFC, he rides into this Silva fight having won three of four.
Silva (34-10, 1 NC) is the former UFC middleweight champion and one of the greatest fighters of all time. The 45-year-old Brazilian held UFC gold between 2006 and 2013, but ever since losing to Chris Weidman at UFC 162, he just hasn’t been the same. Silva is 1-6, 1 NC over his last eight fights with his lone win since 2012 coming against Derek Brunson in 2017. Silva is an absolute legend of the sport but he is now in the twilight of his career.

Betting Odds For Conor McGregor vs Anderson Silva Superfight Have Been Released.
Betting odds for the potential Conor McGregor vs Anderson Silva superfight have been revealed - with Silva surprisingly ahead of the Irishman.
McGregor recently stirred the rivalry when he labelled Silva as the GOAT of UFC while naming himself second.
However, betting side Bovada have opened odds with 'The Spider' a -125 favourite over 'The Notorious' who is a -105 underdog.
You would need to bet $125 on Silva to make $100 profit while a $105 stake on McGregor would be needed to earn a return of $100.
The odds are surprising considering the way Silva's career has gone in the last few years.
Silva has been on the slide over the last few years and has only won one of his last seven fights.
His last victory came back in 2017 against Derek Brunson but it can't be denied that the former middleweight champion is a UFC legend.
The significant weight advantage is likely what gives the 45-year-old an advantage over McGregor, who's last fight came at welterweight.

Silva's last fight came in May last year when he was defeated by Jared Cannonier and suffered a knee injury during the contest.
McGregor was last in action back in January when he swiftly defeated Donald Cerrone.
